In December 2019 we participated in a trade mission to Chad. Gerard met several bakers there. In collaboration with Solange from Symfonio, we work with local ingredients from Chad: fonio and tiger nuts. We have succeeded in making flour from fonio. We are currently training women from Chad to work with fonio themselves. Supporting humanity in growing, processing and trading its own product ensures self-reliance and independence.
